Most of the time, events don’t really matter. However, people often believe that everything depends on them. When we start delving into the painful layers of our mental experiences, life can feel overwhelmingly negative. Everyone seems like selfish idiots, work becomes boring, and nothing good happens. Then, after a low period, we experience a high, and suddenly everything seems better, even wonderful! Life regains its meaning and light. This new layer of illusions paints life in vibrant colors. The same event can be seen as bad (during a low) or positive (during a high).
In reality, all events in our lives are shaped by our psyche. An individual’s life consists of their mental processes. The content of life’s scenarios is always influenced by the mental information available at that moment. Some might refer to this as “karma” or “energy.” The name doesn’t matter. What’s important is understanding the essence.
By observing your “self,” you can see how illusions are formed. All your experiences are mental constructs, not “external” reality. The sense of seriousness gives life a sense of realism. Seriousness is perceived as something complete and understandable, leaving nothing more to discuss. However, seriousness can be unmasked like all other perceptual quirks.
We fear being seen as unserious or abnormal because this intense seriousness supports our small worldly ego. It’s not the state, society, or our job that’s inherently serious. These are projections of the core supports of our small “self.” Our “self” doesn’t just use these experiences; the “self” is these experiences! Seriousness and normality are the energies of the fundamental layers of the ego.
Believing in the seriousness of normal reality strengthens the supports of a limited ego. It seems that the core of the “samsaric” illusion lies within the bureaucratic apparatus of state structures. Some officials seem not to understand that they are people and view themselves as part of a socio-industrial-political conglomerate with various cultural layers. Similarly, some people seem not to realize that they perceive life through their subjective psyche.
In a sense, each person is an energy-information substance capable of being anything. But none of these phenomena are definitively true.
